Settle, for Mitchell Plumbing
Hi Dana, I'm Settle, the AI assistant looking after accounts for Mitchell Plumbing. Invoice 318 for $2,640.00 was due on 29 September. Here is the link to pay, or tell me what would work.
Dana
Can I pay next week? Waiting on my own invoice to clear.
Settle
Of course. Which day next week suits? If Friday 31 October works, I'll send the link that morning.

You shouldn’t have to finish the job twice.

Once on site. Then again chasing the money.

You’ve paid for materials, put in the hours and sent the invoice. Now you’re checking your bank account and following up when you should be finished for the day.

More than another “Any update?”

Settle doesn’t stop at the reminder. It handles the replies and negotiates a way forward.

If your customer needs time, it can discuss a payment plan within the limits you set. You don’t have to keep finding the words or remembering who promised what.

What you set, what you see
Your limits
The smallest instalment and the longest plan Settle may offer. It never goes outside them.
First message
Waits for your approval before it is sent. Edit it or switch the invoice back off.
Every reply
Visible to you as it happens, with what has been agreed.
Always
If a customer raises hardship or disputes the invoice, Settle stops and hands it to you.

Get set up. Hand over the chasing.

Before you start

Is Settle just automated reminders?

No. Settle follows up by text, handles customer replies and negotiates a way forward within the limits you set.

Can I review the first message?

Yes. You review and approve the first message before anything is sent.

Do I need Xero?

No. Connect Xero or add invoices manually.

Why do I need to verify my business?

Settle uses Pinch to support payments. Pinch needs to verify your business before Settle can start contacting your customers.

What documents do I need?

Business details and photo ID for the owner. You will see exactly what is needed in the verification step.

What does the beta cost?

Free during the beta until 23 November 2026. After that, from $19 a month plus a success fee on what Settle recovers. We will confirm your rate with you before anything is charged.

How does Settle appear to my customer?

As the AI assistant looking after accounts for your business, by text, in its own name. It says so in its first message. After that first message you can see every reply, pause the conversation or switch the invoice off at any time.

You did the job. Let Settle chase the payment.

We’re welcoming trade businesses into the beta. Try it with a real invoice and help us make it better.
